Tips

When donating electronics, only bring working, complete devices with their charger and cables. A broken device will not find a new owner and belongs at a waste station or e-waste collection point. Before donating a computer, tablet or phone, back it up, sign out of your accounts and reset it to factory settings.

Only donate clean, intact things you could still use yourself. For larger items such as furniture, ask first whether they are accepted. Put small things in a bag or box so they are easy to sort. That way they reach a new owner faster instead of becoming waste.
